STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex ,, was up 1% to 73,905, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 ,, rose 1% to 22,405, joining an Asia-wide rebound from a global selloff on hopes that the United States might be willing to negotiate some of its aggressive tariffs.
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee ,, declined 0.04% versus the U.S. dollar to 85.87, pressured by a decline in the Chinese yuan.
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond (IN067934G=CC) was quoted at 102.055 rupees, with the yield up 1 bps at 6.4965%, tracking a rise in U.S. bond yields.
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate (INR1YMIBROIS=CC) was nearly unchanged at 5.9%, while the five-year swap rate (INR5YMIBROIS=CC) rose 2 bps to 5.7825%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate (INROND=) was at 6.10%, and the overnight TREPS rate (INTREPTOT=TCCL) was at 6.12%.
