It Mainly Provides A Range Of Exchange, Credit, Banking And Non-banking Services. It Plays The Role Of Intermediary In Implementing The National Monetary Policy And Seeking Funds From Local Or Overseas Financial Institution Groups For Development Projects. With Experience In Investing In Key Engineering Projects, The Bank Plays A Leading Role In Investment Development And Project Fundraising In Vietnam. The Bank Was Founded On April 26, 1957 And Was Originally Named Vietnam Construction Bank. The Name Was Used Until June 24, 1981, And Was Later Renamed Vietnam Investment And Construction Bank. On November 14, 1990, In Line With Market-oriented Reforms, It Was Restructured Into Vietnam Investment And Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank. In November 2019, South Korea's Hana Bank Acquired A 15% Stake In Vietnam Investment And Development Bank For $875 Million History
