Development History
- In 1990, E. SUN Commercial Bank Was Initiated By Huang Yongren. When It Was Established, It Was Advertised That There Were No Large Enterprises Involved, And It Was Completely Participated By Professional Financial Personnel, Scholars And Small And Medium-sized Enterprises. After Being Approved By The Ministry Of Finance, It Started Business On February 21, 1992. Lin Zhongxiong Served As The First Chairperson.
- In 2000, The Los Angeles Branch Opened.
- On January 28, 2002, E. SUN Bank And Its Reinvested E. SUN Bills Finance Corporation And E. SUN Securities Jointly Established E. SUN Financial Holding Company By Share Conversion And Became A Subsidiary Of E. SUN Financial Holding.
- In 2002, The Hong Kong Branch Opened.
- In 2004, E. SUN Bank Purchased The Kaohsiung SME Bank, Which Was Taken Over By The Central Deposit Insurance Corporation, For NT $13.368 Billion, And The Number Of Branches Increased From 54 To 114 In One Go.
- On December 25, 2006, E. SUN Bills Finance Corporation, Which Was Also Part Of E. SUN Financial Holding, Was Merged Into E. SUN Bank.
- On July 9, 2011, E. SUN Bank Merged With Zhunan Credit Union For NT $1.86 Billion.
- On November 3, 2012, It Merged With Chiayi City No. 4 Credit Union For NT $110 Million, Increasing The Number Of Domestic Branches To 136, Making It The Third Largest Private Bank In China.
- In 2013, A Third-party Payment Platform Was Established.
- In 2013, It Completed The Investment Of 70% Equity In Union Commercial Bank Plc, A Subsidiary Of Cambodia.

- In 2018, Moody's Was Upgraded To A2 (long-term)/P-1 (short-term) By International Credit Rating.
