Taiwan Business Bank (abbreviated As Taiwan SME Bank Or TBB) Is A Professional Credit Bank For Small And Medium-sized Enterprises In Taiwan. It Was Established In 1915 And Privatized In 1998. It Is One Of The "eight Major Banks" In Taiwan. It Currently Has 125 Domestic Branches And 9 Overseas Branches.

Head Office Of Taiwan Business Bank
In June 1915, "Taiwan Mujin Co., Ltd." Was Founded In Taipei City. "Endless" Means "standard Meeting" In Japanese. In July 1915, "Taisho Mujin Co., Ltd." Was Founded In Tainan City.
On July 1, 1920, "Taiwan Kogyo Mujin Co., Ltd." Opened With A Capital Of 500,000 Yen And Its Headquarters At 3-1 Honmachi, Taipei City (now No. 30 Huaining Street, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Which Was Converted Into The Hua Hua Hotel In 1970).
In 1920, Taiwan Mujin And Taisho Mujin Were Acquired By Taiwan Kogyo Mujin.
In 1926, Taiwan Kogyo Mujin Was Reorganized And Renamed "Taiwan Nambu Mujin Co., Ltd.".
On September 1, 1946, The Taiwan Provincial Administrative Executive Office Merged Four Companies, Including "Taiwan Nambu Mujin", "East Taiwan Mujin" And "Taiwan Housing Mujin", Into "Taiwan Mujin Industry Co., Ltd.".
On May 31, 1947, Taiwan Mujin Industry Was Approved To Receive "Tokiwa Land Co., Ltd.". On June 1, 1947, Taiwan Mujin Industry Was Renamed "Taiwan Provincial People's Mutual Aid Savings Co., Ltd.".
In January 1948, Taiwan Provincial People's Mutual Aid Savings Co., Ltd. Was Renamed "Taiwan Provincial Cooperative Savings Co., Ltd.".
On July 1, 1976, According To The Provisions Of The Banking Law, "Taiwan Provincial Cooperative Savings Co., Ltd." Was Restructured Into "Taiwan Business Bank Co., Ltd.", Becoming The First Bank In The Republic Of China To Provide Financing And Counseling For Small And Medium-sized Enterprises.
On January 22, 1998, Taiwan Business Bank Was Restructured Into A Private Bank.
In 1999, The Head Office Of Taiwan Business Bank Was Moved From The Old Head Office Building At The Intersection Of Chongqing South Road And Xiangyang In Zhongzheng District, Taipei City To No. 30, Tacheng Street, Datong District, Taipei City.
On September 8, 2005, The Taiwan Business Bank Industrial Union Launched A Strike At The Gate Of The Head Office By Nearly 300 Employees Of Branches In Northern Taiwan To Oppose The Ministry Of Finance's Auction Of Taiwan Business Bank To Other Financial Control Companies.
On September 9, 2005, The Auction Of Taiwan Business Bank Was Closed, And Only E. Sun Financial Holding, Fubon Financial Holding And Mega Financial Holding Bid, But Chairperson Zhong Yusheng Announced To The Protesting Employees At The Gate Of The Head Office That The Auction Case Was "inconclusive", Causing An Uproar From All Walks Of Life.
On September 14, 2005, The Auction Of Taiwan Business Bank Was Confirmed To Fail. The Ministry Of Finance Said That The Goal Of "public Stock Withdrawal" Of Taiwan Business Bank Could Not Be Achieved Before The End Of This Year.
On April 3, 2013, Taiwan Business Bank Established A Subsidiary "Taiwan Business Bank International Leasing Co., Ltd.".
